Trainings & Certifications
Learn to build, deploy, and create with AI — the responsible way.
Certifications are how BC + AI turns the conversation into capacity. They are practical, community-powered programs taught by people doing the work — and every one of them sends you home with something you keep, not just a slide deck. This is one of our flagship programs, and we run several.

Why certifications matter
The gap is rarely the technology. It is the practice.
Everyone is shipping AI — fast. The harder question is whether the people deploying it have the workflow, the judgment, and the governance to do it well. That gap, between speed and practice, is exactly what these programs close.
BC + AI is the province-wide layer: a community-driven, nonprofit industry association building public-interest infrastructure for AI in British Columbia. Not a corporate lobby. Not a think tank. A commons where meetups turn into working groups, prototypes turn into shared tools, and community values turn into governance. Our certifications are how that commons teaches.
Why train with BC + AI
Built by practitioners
Taught by people shipping real client work and real governance frameworks — not lecture-only academics.
Artifact first
Every program produces something you keep: a film, an assessment, a custom assistant, a deployable checklist.
Community powered
Graduates join an active network of 850+ Discord members, monthly meetups, and special interest groups across BC and beyond.
Globally applicable, radically local
Rooted in Vancouver, open to the world. Indigenous, creative, technical, and ethical perspectives at the table.
