This is a guided meditation exploring the recursive nature of awareness. You'll be prompted to shift through layers of meta-awareness. There's no "right" experience—just observe what happens.

Why this exercise

This explores higher-order consciousness and meta-cognition. Can consciousness be aware of itself? What does that even mean? Is there an infinite regress, or does something else happen?

Connection to MAC: Central to MAC discussions on self-awareness, the hard problem, and Douglas Hofstadter's "strange loops." Also relates to meditation traditions and phenomenology.
